Playground supervision required
Assist faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, and other miscellaneous projects ranging from Pre-K through 8th Grade
Assist in the preparation of lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations under the direction of a classroom teacher
Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups in order to help master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers
Enforce administration policies and rules governing students
Provide extra assistance to students with special needs (i.e., ADHD, Autism)
Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required
Highly-motivated, student-centered individual
Maintains a positive, calm attitude and a soft voice to encourage and engage students in the learning process
Maintains a cooperative attitude of working together with the teacher, volunteers, parents, and other staff
Teaching or Substitute certificate preferred

Hours 7:30 a.m. until 3:15 p.m.
