Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a Guided Study Tutor for the Student Learning Programs Division. This position is a full time 10 month position.

Title:

Guided Study Tutor- Full Time 10 Months

Start Date: 08/06/2025

Time: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm for the 2025-2026 school year.

Description:

The role of a Guided Study tutor includes the following:

Deliver instructional support to students with a focus in a specific content area
Facilitate the development of executive functioning skills
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and ILC/ELC tutors to support and document student progress
Tutor students, individually or in groups, in the appropriate content area coursework or skill development
Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning at all times
Maintain familiarity with curriculum and learning targets in relevant content area
Monitor, and record in IC, learning progress of assigned students
Provide feedback to classroom teachers regarding students’ progress
Maintain accurate records of student attendance (i.e. Infinite Campus & Interactive Report Card)
Organize and maintain resource materials as necessary and appropriate

Qualifications:

ISBE licensure is required.
Must have a paraprofessional (PARA) or substitute (SUB) license. A professional educator license (PEL) with an endorsement in Communication Arts, Social Studies, Science, or Math is preferred.
High school teaching experience and familiarity with MTSS/RtI frameworks are also preferred.

Knowledge of computer hardware & software (word processing, spreadsheets, electronic calendars, electronic mail, etc.)
Ability to work effectively with various software platforms (Google Suite, Infinite Campus, Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Tableau, etc.)

Salary:
SSSA Agreement (all support staff positions at Stevenson High School shall be paid no less than $17.75/hour). Compensation will be determined based upon the candidate's skills and experience.
