Temporary Summer Custodians - 2024-2025

Location: Several schools

Status: Temporary Assignments from June 9, 2025 – August 8, 2025

REPORTS TO: Assistant Director of Buildings & Grounds

Starting Salary/Pay: Current employee hourly rate

Hours: Monday – Friday, First Shift. Hours will vary as needed.

Summer cleaning includes deep cleaning of entire school building, ensuring a clean and orderly condition by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming classrooms, library, hallways, bathrooms, stairs, cafeteria, gymnasium, and office space.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain floors including stripping, waxing, and refinishing; shampoo rugs and carpets.
Ability to lift and/or carry supplies weighing no more than 80 lbs., with assistance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Custodian or Head Custodian.

Qualifications:

Must be a current Penn Manor hourly employee.
