Summary
Hamilton Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated wrestling head coach for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wrestling and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment. This seasonal position involves coaching student-athletes, developing their skills, and promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct wrestling practices, focusing on skill development, technique, and conditioning.
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to individual, and team needs.
- Organize and supervise wrestling matches, tournaments, and team events.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to student-athletes, promoting personal growth and character development.
- Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding team progress and individual performance.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and competitions.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote a positive athletic culture within the school.
- Monitor and evaluate athlete performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Uphold the values of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity within the wrestling program.

Requirements
- Previous experience coaching wrestling at the middle school or high school level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wrestling techniques, rules, and strategies.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes of varying skill levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to the start of the season).
- Availability to work evenings and weekends for practices and competitions during the wrestling season.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint criminal background check per School Board policy.
