The Goodhue County Education District (GCED) provides collaborative educational services to the six member school districts located in Goodhue County in southeastern Minnesota. Across the county, GCED supports approximately 7,000 students. The district employs over 150 staff members and is recognized for its strong partnerships with partnering school districts and community service agencies to deliver specialized and innovative programming. Core services include a Federal Setting IV Special Education program, an 18–21 Transition Program, Title III/Multilingual Learner programming, Alternative Education programs, and regional support for Perkins/Career and Technical Education. GCED also operates 5RiversOnline, a comprehensive online learning program, and provides specialized services such as Early Childhood Special Education and low-incidence disability support, including Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Blind/Visually Impaired services.

We are looking for an Early Childhood Special Education teacher who can cover a Long-Term Subtitute need. The projected date range is September 28, 2026 - November 30, 2026. Minnesota Licensure (or ability to obtain, including an OFP) is required. This position will involve serving in a county-wide role and as part of a team of Early Childhood/Birth-to-3 educators.
