Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Highly proficient in word processing and data management using Microsoft Word, Excel
Proficient in Educational Management Information System (EMIS), Special Education Management software and District’s current Student Information System
Ability to manage budgets and federal grants
Ability to manage and update department information on the internet/web site
Accurate record-keeping and filing
Familiarity with voice-mail and e-mail procedures
Operation of standard office machines
Strong written (grammar, spelling and punctuation) and verbal communication skills
Adheres to strict confidentiality standards
Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with staff, students, parents and the public
Ability to establish priorities, work independently and meet objectives with minimal supervision
Demonstrates reliability, timeliness and good attendance
