Summary:
Our daycare center is seeking a full-time Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a passion for early childhood education. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the classroom, creating and implementing lesson plans, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children in their care.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress and behavior
- Supervise and provide guidance to assistant teachers and aides
- Follow all state and local regulations for childcare centers
- Attend staff meetings and professional development trainings
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Create a positive and nurturing atmosphere for the children in the classroom

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and one of the following qualification Associates degree or high in Early Childhood Development, Child Development Associates Credential, or 6 months experience in early childhood education providing direct care and supervision to children in the same age range they will be serving.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of state and local regulations for childcare centers
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check and finger prints
- Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
