About Empire High School: Empire High School, located in Tucson, Arizona, is proud to be recognized as the number 1 academic high school in Southern Arizona. Our football program has achieved back-to-back winning seasons, finishing with a record of 6-4 two years in a row, under the leadership of Head Coach George Kelly.

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated, passionate, and committed skilled coaches to join our varsity football team for the upcoming season. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·        Develop and implement position-specific training that enhance player skills and knowledge.

• Work closely with Head Coach George Kelly to align coaching strategies with team goals.
• Mentor athletes in sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic excellence.
• Plan and execute practice sessions. Film study and game planning, scouting opponents.
• Attend all games, practices, and related team events.
• Be active in off-season workouts, Spring Football, 7 on 7 and big man challenges

Qualifications:

• Prior experience coaching at the high school or higher level preferred.
• Strong understanding of football tactics, strategies, and player development.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive team culture and supporting student-athlete academic success.
• Must pass background checks and meet all school district requirements for coaching.
• NFHS coaching certification – we can provide the course to complete if one is not possessed
