Contract Terms: 

  • Bus Driving Part-time - approx. 3 hours per day, plus athletic and field trip rotation
  • Custodial work could increase daily hours 
  • Pay is based on placement on the district salary schedule. 

 

Job Summary:

Bus drivers are responsible for transporting students to and from school and on designated extra-curricular activities and field trips. Driver hours are from approximately 6:45 to 8 a.m. and from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school year. Extra-curricular and field trips may require longer daytime and/or evening hours.

The custodian will be responsible for cleaning areas of the school, which may include classrooms, restrooms, gym, cafeteria, office, staff room and library. Duties may include but are not limited to: vacuuming, mopping, waxing, floor machine, setup for school board meetings and other school events and activities, and other duties as assigned.

The bus driver / custodian will work under the supervision of the transportation and facilities coordinator.

 

Requirements:

The successful applicant must have a valid Washington State Driver's License and have or be willing to acquire a Class B CDL with air brake restrictions removed, and passenger and school bus endorsements. Additional requirements include current First Aid Card and DOT physical. School bus drivers are also subject to random drug/alcohol testing.
