The Park Rapids School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a C Team Volleyball Coach at Park Rapids High School. This seasonal position is ideal for someone passionate about developing young athletes and fostering a positive team environment. The coach will be responsible for teaching fundamental volleyball skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a fun and competitive experience for all players.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practice sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.
- Organize and oversee C team matches, including pre-game preparations and post-game evaluations.
- Provide individual and group instruction to players, emphasizing technique and sportsmanship.
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to align training goals and strategies across all teams.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding schedules, expectations, and player development.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations, including safety protocols and eligibility requirements.
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of players for the volleyball program.
- Attend coaching clinics and workshops to stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and strategies.

Requirements
- Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals and game strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to achieve their best.
- First Aid and CPR certification desired or willingness to obtain prior to the start of the season.
- Availability for practices and games during the designated season, including evenings and weekends and through the off season.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Background check clearance as required by school policies.
