Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our coaching staff for the Junior High Girls Tennis program at Park Rapids High School. This seasonal position is ideal for someone who is passionate about tennis and dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive environment for young athletes. The coach will be responsible for developing players' skills, promoting teamwork, and instilling a love for the game.

Responsibilities
- Assist Head Coach in planning and conducting daily practice sessions that focus on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
- Teach fundamental tennis techniques and rules to junior high players of varying skill levels.
- Organize and supervise competitive matches and tournaments throughout the season.
- Provide individualized feedback and support to players to help them improve their performance.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among athletes.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding schedules, expectations, and player progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and matches.
- Assist with the recruitment and retention of players for the program.
- Attend coaching meetings and contribute to the overall development of the tennis program at Park Rapids High School.

Requirements
- Previous experience playing tennis at a competitive level; coaching experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of tennis rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with young athletes.
- Ability to motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain prior to the start of the season.
- Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends during the tennis season.
