2025-2026 Temporary Building Substitute (1-Year Only) for D28 Schools

Salary: $55,395
Benefits Eligibility: Eligible for full-time benefits
Work Year: 8/18/2025 - 6/2/2026
Days Off: 10 holidays plus winter break (10 days) and spring break (5 days)
Schedule: 8:15am - 3:45pm

Qualifications & Licensure
Substitute License required; Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Education Endorsement preferred

Reports to:
Principal

Performance Responsibilities:

Substitute teach in all areas of instruction as well as physical education, music and Spanish to work collaboratively with students and faculty for grades K-8

Terms of Employment:
1-Year Only; salary and benefits as determined annually by the D28 Board of Education
