2025-2026 Administrative Assistant for Assistant Superintendent

Salary: $42,000 - $46,000
Benefits Eligibility: Eligible for full-time benefits for classified personnel
Work Year: 7/1/2025 - 6/30/2026
Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree preferred; to perform this job successfully, an individual must have exceptional communication and customer service skills, an ability to contribute to a team environment, excellent multi-tasking skills, technology expertise especially with Google Suite; experience managing grants is desired

Assistant Superintendent

Performance Responsibilities:

Provide district level support to the curriculum, instruction and assessment department's day-to-day operations and long-term support for adult and student learning
Optimize efficiency, innovation and collaboration for all relevant district processes
Support the management of state and federal grants
Develop and maintain digital curriculum tools
Schedule, organize and manage professional learning events
Complete and submit necessary state reports for professional learning and teacher institute days
Organize and monitor Google documents for the department
Communicate with all stakeholders as needed including administration, staff and parents
Monitor budget and manage ordering and dissemination of curriculum and instruction purchases
Perform other duties as assigned

Terms of Employment:
12 Month Position; salary and benefits as determined annually by the D28 Board of Education
