Position Title: Substitute Registered Nurse
Location: Annandale Public School District 0876
Immediate Supervisor: Building Principal
Schedule: Flexible Schedule, work as you are needed and as you are available, M-F during the school year.
Typical hours are 7:30 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. or 7:45 A.M. - 3:45 P.M.
ISD 876 offers a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week (130 hours per month average over a 9 month period). This position averages less than 30 hours per week and does not qualify for benefits.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Licensed School Nurse provides guidance and direction for the building(s) health program, assesses and evaluates the health status of students, provides counseling to students and their families regarding health issues and provides specific recommendations for students with special health needs. The Licensed School Nurse provides education and training for staff in the areas of health and safety.
