Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Scoreboard/Clock Operator for the high school girls basketball games at Winlock High School. This seasonal position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all game operations run smoothly and that accurate scores and time are maintained throughout each game. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate the scoreboard and game clock during girls basketball games, ensuring accurate tracking of time and score.
- Communicate effectively with referees, coaches, and other game officials to ensure smooth game operations.
- Maintain knowledge of the rules and regulations of high school basketball to accurately reflect game events on the scoreboard.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the scoreboard and clock equipment before and after games.
- Monitor the game for any special situations that may require adjustments to the scoreboard or clock.
- Provide support during pre-game and halftime activities, including managing any additional timing needs.
- Attend any required training sessions or meetings prior to the start of the season.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with players, coaches, and spectators.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Previous experience as a scoreboard or clock operator is preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of basketball rules and game flow.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends during the basketball season.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all game operations.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from game officials.
- Must be reliable and punctual for all scheduled games and events.
