Dassel-Cokato Public Schools is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator at Cokato Elementary beginning September 2025.

Duties

Coordination of parent volunteers in the school
Coverage of classrooms/recess for up to 30 minutes
Coordination of special events at the building
Coordination of school patrol program

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Ability to work on with a variety of school staff, parents, community members and students
Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative
Strong communication and organization skills
Adaptive to change and high flexibility

Qualifications within 6 month of hire

AA Degree or
AS Degree or
60 semester credits of post secondary education (equivalent of 2 years) or
Passing score on the paraprofessional assessment test (district will help support the training for this exam)
