TITLE OF POSITION: Physical Education Teacher - Dix Street Elementary School

STARTING DATE: 2025-26 School Year

CLOSING DATE: Thursday, May 29, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m.

Otsego Public Schools’ staff is the heart of the district, and we are looking to add a Physical Education teacher to our elementary school staff. Physical Education Teachers instruct students about sports, physical development, health, and proper nutrition, and have knowledge of sports and the health sciences. Physical education teachers show students not only how to play various sports, but also how physical activity benefits the muscles and overall health.

Primary tasks (non-exhaustive list):

Employ a variety of instructional techniques and resources consistent with parameters of the educational environment and the needs and limitations of the students involved.
Teach students how to play various sports and how to exercise.

Requirements:

Valid Michigan Teacher Certificate, MB (Physical Education) or MX (Health, PE, Recreation and Dance) Endorsement
Some teaching experience strongly preferred
