Summary:

This position is a dynamic opportunity for an educator passionate about promoting physical fitness,

wellness, and lifelong health in students. The role includes teaching a combination of Physical

Education, Health, Fitness, and Weight Training courses at the secondary level, contributing to

students’ overall development and readiness for both life and future careers.

A preferred qualification includes a CTE Health Sciences or Sports Medicine endorsement,

enabling the Health course to be counted as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) credit when

applicable.

The successful candidate will help integrate fitness and health into broader school-wide programs

of study and may contribute to pathways in health, sports medicine, personal training, and wellness

careers.

The teacher will foster a growth mindset, encourage discipline through physical training, and

provide a safe and engaging learning environment. The candidate will support efforts to align

curriculum with state standards, industry expectations, and High School and Beyond plans.
