Are you ready to empower the next generation with real-world skills that matter? Findlay High School, in partnership with the Millstream Career Center, is searching for an energetic and inspiring Family and Consumer Science Teacher to lead engaging, hands-on learning experiences in nutrition, child development, culinary arts, personal finance, and more.

What You'll Do

As our Family & Consumer Science Teacher, you'll be a life skills coach, career guide, and role model. You'll:

Design and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons that prepare students for life beyond the classroom.
Teach courses like culinary arts, nutrition, textiles, financial literacy, child development, and career readiness.
Inspire students in fully-equipped kitchen labs and collaborative learning spaces.
Foster a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment where every student can thrive.
Monitor and celebrate student growth, while offering meaningful feedback.
Partner with families, fellow educators, and the community to elevate student success.
Be a visible and active contributor to school life, events, and professional learning.

What You Bring

A Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education (or a related field).
A valid Ohio teaching license with appropriate Family & Consumer Science certification (or eligible to obtain one).
Strong communication, organization, and classroom leadership skills.
A passion for connecting classroom learning to life and career pathways.
Bonus: Experience in classroom instruction or the Family & Consumer Science related industry.
