Position Title: Manufacturing & Industrial Robotics Career and Technical Education

Millstream Career Center is seeking a highly qualified Manufacturing & Industrial Robotics CTE Teacher to lead a cutting-edge program that integrates advanced technologies, engineering principles, and workforce readiness.
In this role, you will develop a rigorous, hands-on curriculum to help students master industry-relevant skills while earning certifications like FANUC Robotics Technician Certification, CCP credentials, and SACA credentials.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach advanced manufacturing and industrial robotics concepts, focusing on certifying students as FANUC Robotics Technicians and preparing them for SACA (Smart Automation Certification Alliance) credentials.
- Provide College Credit Plus (CCP) instruction to eligible high school students, ensuring college-level rigor and alignment with post-secondary programs.
- Deliver engaging lessons on topics including CNC machining, robotic programming, PLC systems, lean manufacturing, and CAD/CAM software.
- Integrate tools such as Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, and manual drafting principles into real-world design and engineering projects.
- Serve as a mentor and leader for students participating in programs like the FIRST Robotics Competition, fostering teamwork and innovation.
- Manage and maintain a well-equipped manufacturing and robotics lab, adhering to safety protocols and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with industry partners to align curriculum with workforce demands and create opportunities for internships, job-shadowing, and career placement.
- Develop and refine curriculum to reflect the latest trends in manufacturing, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Qualifications
Experience, Education & Certification:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing and 5 years’ experience in the engineering field
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development for technical education.
- Credentials to teach CCP (College Credit Plus) courses.
- SACA (Smart Automation Certification Alliance) credentials.
- Must have or be able to obtain a CTE certificate in Manufacturing or Industrial Robotics.
- Proven experience with FIRST Robotics Competition as a mentor or coach.
- Certified FANUC Robotics Instructor.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, including Fusion 360 and Autodesk
- Inventor, along with manual drafting principles.
- Expertise in operating and troubleshooting a variety of machines and control systems, including CNC, PLCs, and industrial robotics.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in automation, robotics, and manufacturing.
