Essential Functions:

Develop and administer engaging elementary curriculum in alignment with district objectives, promoting holistic student development.
Cultivate a classroom environment conducive to individualized and small group instruction, fostering optimal learning experiences for all students.
Based on FCS Board adopted curriculum, craft dynamic lesson plans and instructional materials, tailored to meet diverse learning needs and maximize instructional time effectively.
Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning, adapting instructional methods to accommodate individual student requirements, including those with special needs.
Instill principles of responsible citizenship while adhering to applicable laws and administrative regulations, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and achievements, facilitating effective communication with parents and administration.
Foster parental involvement in students' education, establishing open lines of communication and collaboration.
Uphold school standards and policies, promoting a professional and positive learning atmosphere by guiding student behavior and engagement.
Collaborate, in a positive and professional manner, with fellow elementary staff to evaluate and refine curriculum, actively participating in faculty meetings and committees.

Additional Duties:

Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Principal or district administrators, contributing to the overall educational mission.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to school district buildings and professional meetings may be required to facilitate collaboration and professional development.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in contemporary teaching methods and educational pedagogy, with a knack for differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Familiarity with elementary school curriculum and educational concepts, coupled with the ability to analyze data and formulate actionable plans.
Competent in utilizing computer networks and software applications to support instructional objectives.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, coupled with effective communication abilities to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to self-reflection and professional growth, fostering cooperative relationships within the educational community.

Qualifications Profile:

Ohio State Certification as an Elementary Teacher is required.
- Possession of Ohio State Certification in the appropriate grade level.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or a related discipline applicable to the teaching assignment.
Complete all requirements in regards to Step up to Quality and Licensing.
