Summary
Durand High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bowling Coach for the high school boys' team. This seasonal position is responsible for developing student-athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship within the sport of bowling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their personal and team goals.

Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practice sessions, focusing on skill development, strategy, and team cohesion.
- Develop game plans and strategies for competitions, ensuring athletes understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor and assess individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, respect, and camaraderie among athletes.
- Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school administration regarding team expectations, schedules, and performance.
- Organize and supervise team events, including practices, competitions, and team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all school and athletic department policies, as well as state and national bowling regulations.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote the overall athletic program at Durand High School.

Requirements
- Previous experience coaching bowling at the high school level or equivalent experience in competitive bowling.
- Strong knowledge of bowling techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a diverse environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning practices and events.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends during the bowling season.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- A commitment to promoting the academic success of student-athletes alongside their athletic development.
