REPORT TO: Transportation Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: A school aide is responsible for assisting the driver in the safe transportation and

management of students. He/She should have excellent communication skills, be alert and exercise good judgment. Exhibit a positive image as a loyal representative of the school district. He/She should be flexible and enjoy working with children. Establish favorable working relationships with coordinator, drivers, maintenance personnel, teachers and students. Applicant should be in good physical health to assist with handicap bus lifts, wheelchair accessibility, secure students in seating and other assistance as needed..
