Out-of-School Time (OST) Assistant

Are you energetic, enthusiastic and love working with kids? Orchard View Community Education is looking for a fun-loving, positive, and dependable Out-of-School Time (OST) Assistant to join our licensed child care program!

If you enjoy playing games, leading activities, and making a difference in children's lives, this is the job for you!

Position Details:

Location: Cardinal Elementary
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 a.m.-9 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Ages: Working with children ages 5-12 years

What You'll Do:

Create a safe, engaging, and FUN environment for kids
Lead hands-on activities, games, and creative projects
Encourage active play and social development
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Follow State of Michigan child care licensing regulations to ensure a safe and structured program

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Enthusiastic & energetic team player with a passion for working with kids
✅ Strong communication & problem-solving skills
✅ Ability to pass a background check
✅ Clear physical and TB test
✅ CPR & First Aid certification (preferred)
