Qualifications:

General Description:

Provides overall prevention programs management and coordination with multiple systems and entities. Is accountable for all initiative deliverables in accordance with initiative guidelines, deadlines, and requirements.
Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the prevention services. Coordinates and supervises prevention specialists working with students, teachers, administrators and parents on prevention and intervention. Serves as a resource to implement prevention strategies within the Wood County schools.
Supervision of Wood County ESC Building & Grounds Maintenance.

Essential Functions:

Ensures that initiative and programs are operating in accordance with required federal, state and local guidelines and board policy.
Ensures that initiative activities are completed in a timely manner and as outlined in grant proposals
Establishes beneficial relationships with multiple partners and local school administrators and staff to encourage collaboration in initiative-related activities
Communicates requirements of initiative to consortium partners in a clear and professional manner.
Monitors progress of element coordinators and staff conducting grant-related activities
Ensures proper documentation for all initiative-related activities
Responsible for creating, revising, and finalizing all spreadsheet budgets
Leads preparation for initiative site-visits or audits
Ensures all initiative expenditures are reasonable and allowable
Collaborates with project evaluator to complete and approve required year-end reports
Leads the promotion of initiative activities through media and public relation efforts
Attend required national and local conferences.
