Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our athletic department as a Freshman Head Volleyball Coach for the upcoming seasonal term. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport and a commitment to developing young athletes both on and off the court. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire our freshman volleyball team, fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for the freshman volleyball team, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
- Conduct daily practices, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all team members.
- Organize and oversee all aspects of the freshman volleyball season, including scheduling games, transportation, and equipment management.
- Foster a culture of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity among players, coaches, and parents.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team policies, schedules, and player development.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Collaborate with the athletic department and other coaches to promote a cohesive athletic program.
- Attend coaching clinics and workshops to stay current with volleyball coaching techniques and trends.
- Ensure compliance with all school and athletic association policies and regulations.

Requirements
- Previous coaching experience in volleyball, preferably at the high school or youth level.
- Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches, staff, and parents.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Availability for afternoon and evening practices and games during the season.
- A high school diploma is required; a college degree in a related field is preferred.
- Must pass a background check as per school district policy.
