Notice is hereby given that Harper Creek Community School District, Battle Creek, Michigan is currently searching for a Payroll/Accounting Specialist. Guided by district policy, vision and mission as well as the Superintendent, or designee, the Payroll/Accounting Specialists’ responsibility is to ensure the accurate accounting and financial reporting functions of the District are completed on a timely basis while exemplifying a high standard of customer service and confidentiality. The main responsibilities of this position include all aspects of payroll processing.

This position is full-time, year round.

Annual Salary: $58,344 (dependent on experience and education of the chosen candidate. )

A competitive benefit package will be provided.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in accounting and/or payroll. School accounting experience is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
