POSITION: High School Support Staff Secretary (assigned to the library)

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to engage and support students, staff, and the public in a friendly and professional manner.
Familiarization with educational technology such as Google Classroom, LanSchool, and research databases.
Skills necessary for developing and maintaining a well-organized and student-centered learning environment.
4-year college degree preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct academic assistance and support to students (individually and groups) working on classroom assignments/projects. This includes working with students throughout the school day, before and after school, and during lunch.
Maintain and process library materials and equipment including books, computers, and other library resources
Facilitate the use of the library space for special event programming.
Process district-wide teacher/staff copy requests.
Other duties as assigned.

SALARY: $13.53-$17.59/hour based on experience; per the Secretarial Bargaining Agreement
