POSITION: Library Support Staff Long-Term Substitute

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to engage and support students and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
Familiarization with educational technology such as Google Classroom, LanSchool, and PowerSchool.
Skills necessary for developing and maintaining a well-organized and student-centered learning environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize and maintain the Discovery Computer Lab
Maintain and process library materials and equipment including books, computers, and other library resources
Facilitate the use of the library space for special event programming.
Provide direct academic assistance and support to students (individually and in groups) working on classroom assignments/projects. This includes working with students throughout the school day, before and after school, and during lunch.

SALARY: Per contract, based on experience
