About The Role

  • Participate as an IEP team member with identification and placement decisions for students with ASD.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and other interventions to integrate students into the Least Restrictive Environment.
  • Support implementation of evidence-based practices across the LRE continuum to improve student outcomes.
  • Help with implementation of specialized materials and devices to facilitate the education of students with ASD.

About You

  • Master’s degree and three to five years of teaching experience.
  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate with special education endorsement in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorder (SV) or a willingness to seek this endorsement with an existing endorsement in other special education area.
  • Knowledge and experience in programming for students with ASD of various ages.
