About The Role
  • Performs budget analysis and preparation of budget material including budget development, budget revisions and monthly financial reports for the Board of Education.
  • Compiles, organizes and maintains property tax information which is used to prepare and process tax certifications for the Ingham Intermediate School District and constituent districts as well as other property tax requirements of the Michigan Departments of Education and Treasury. 
  • Assists in the development of program and fund level CSTE budgets and projections.  Calculates and verifies state and federal CTE revenue sources to be included with those budgets and projections.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. 
  • Minimum of two to four years of recent and relevant experience in accounting position.
  • Excellent customer service skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with constituent district staff, internal department staff, Michigan Department of Education and taxing units.
