Overview: Bellevue Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Football Coach to lead and develop our football program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring student-athletes, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the game. This role includes overseeing practices, developing game strategies, and fostering sportsmanship and teamwork both on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct practices, workouts, and conditioning sessions
Develop game strategies and analyze team performance
Supervise assistant coaches and support staff
Promote a culture of discipline, hard work, and respect
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all athletes
Manage equipment, uniforms, and team logistics
Foster academic and personal development in players
Represent the team in a positive manner within the school and community

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience (head or assistant) in football at the high school level preferred
Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, rules, and safety protocols
Excellent communication and leadership skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Background check clearance
Experience with team-building and player development
Understanding of strength and conditioning programs

Compensation: Based on Schedule B of the teachers contract
