POSITIONS: Head Cook – High School

(Food Service Class I)

TIME REQUIRED: 6:45 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. Monday - Friday

QUALIFICATIONS: Serv Safe Manager Certificate required. As determined by the Food Service Director. Reports to Food Service Director.

Description:
The Class I Food Service employee is responsible for the daily preparation of food for
200+ students. Duties include the cooking of meals and maintaining high standards of
food quality, food production and portion control using the K12 school meal compliant
menu. Weekly Inventory management, including monitoring inventory levels.
Responsible for kitchen and food safety. Equipment inspections and monitoring to
ensure for proper maintenance, cleanliness and functionality. Works with a team of 3
and reports to Food Service Director.
