Description:

Brandywine Community Schools is seeking a High School Math Teacher that promotes and develops successful learning for students, performs instructional and related duties in accordance with District and Board Policies and terms of the teacher contract. The Teacher will also develop and foster relationships with staff, parents, students and the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited college or university
Valid Michigan teaching certification with the following endorsement:
- Math (EX)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of related content standards
Ability to facilitate student learning, growth and achievement
Highly qualified by ESSA Standards

Qualified candidates should skillfully demonstrate the following:

Plan, prepare and deliver lessons plans and instructional materials that facilitate student learning, growth, and achievement
In accordance with the district provided curriculum, instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs
Understanding of Multi-tiered Systems of Support
Collaborative member of Professional Learning Communities
Ability to effectively demonstrate a whole child approach to teaching
Regular and reliable attendance is and essential job duty
