JV SOFTBALL COACH


Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as a Softball Coach for our JV team at Coloma High School. The selected candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding young athletes to achieve their full potential, while also instilling a sense of teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies that align with the team's goals and objectives.
- Train and mentor players on the fundamentals of softball, including batting, pitching, fielding, and base running.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help players improve their skills.
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and mutual respect among players.
- Attend all team practices, games, and tournaments, and ensure the team is prepared and organized for each event.
- Communicate regularly with parents, school administrators, and other coaches to provide updates on team progress and address any concerns or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all school and league rules and regulations, including safety protocols and equipment requirements.

Requirements:
- Previous coaching experience(2+ Years preferably)
- Strong knowledge of softball rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes, while also maintaining discipline and accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with players, parents, and school administrators.
- Availability to attend all team practices, games, and tournaments, as well as occasional weekend events.
- Must pass a background check and meet all other requirements established by the school district.
